After 15 years of being bad, the Buffalo Sabres decided to stop doing that. Not because of a new player, new coach, draft pick, big trade, healed injury etc etc, but because the arena started selling beer out of a plastic sword.
Or at least that was the talk of the town. Personally, I like to think that sometimes the best reason to be your best, is for no other reason than because you can.
